Friperie Take Out: a stuff-for-stuff clothing swap

Friperie Take Out
a stuff-for-stuff clothing swap

Saturday, April 24th

1-6pm
Ste-Emilie Skillshare
3942, rue Ste-Emilie
Metro Place-Saint-Henri

Spring’s here, so it’s time for some closet renewal. Time to get some new party time clothes, right? Don’t go to mega-corporate stores (boo), come to Ste-Emilie instead (yay)! There’s going to be a whole whack of gently-loved items for you to pick from for your new season’s look. We’re talking shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes… oh yes, entire outfits if you’re lucky.
Basically: change your wardrobe, change your life.
Also, feel free to clean out your closet and bring some old favorites along. Anything left over will be taken to a shelter.

Tea and biscuits will be available.
Folks will also be on hand to help with alterations and adornments, yeah.
Donations will be accepted, and nobody will be turned away.

And if any disputes arise over who gets what, you’ll have to compete in a strut off. Oh that’s right, a strut off ;)

meow.

closed for nice weather

Besides me, Christina and this sexy paralegal i roped into helping print t-shirts, everybody else must have gotten this memo that we’d be closed cuz of all the sunshine and heat.  That’s cool, guys, just let us know next time.

Well, we ended up spending most of the shift on the roof, getting inspired.  Then headed back in to print another large chunk of the Head & Hands t-shirts (they’re almost ready, guys, promise!).  We used this new fabric ink that doesn’t need to be ironed, and it worked out fine so far.  We haven’t tried them in a washing machine or anything for colorfastness, but it went on smoothly and cleaned up easily.  Gotta find out how many colors it comes in!

Um, blog, blog, blog, here’s a movie:
