FUNDRAISER: skilgreining er skammvinn

when the whole content is filtered down the amassed understanding could probably be summed up in two or three sentences. the ‘dialogue’ represented by the icelandic title skilgreining er skammvinn is interpreted as ‘definition is transient’
explorations of artists construed differently from every angle. the feelings left are evanescent, bitter and sometimes bittersweet. there is deeper meaning here… proper analysis is largely based on observing the motion. the sphere of perception by each viewer increases connections among the stories which unfold through different mediums eventually interpretations paradox and bleed together. seen from every angle these feelings will characterize and begin to contradict one another.

art:
jon estwards: working to bring artifacts from other dimensions into this one. he uses polaroid technology to transpose forms. various prints of these capturings may be shown, as well as some recently exhumed and current polaroids. photos that possibly should not be seen might be on display. fibre lifeforms appearing gradually. old self-explorative work. humans now evolving into textural beasts. things that don’t exist because nothing else exists anyway.

walker micah oliver: installations to combine photography with sculptures made from forgotten objects. discarded teacups, dumpstered flowers, broken clocks, unsent postcards, failed knitting projects, cheap lace, synthetic hair, fallen twigs, washed up seashells and tree portraits.

day elijah: this conception, in all it’s luminosity, layers improbable fabrication/distortion of natural forces and beings also carries seasonal elements measuring a passing through ‘time’ emphasizing a separation from concrete realities and any enchantingly abstract realm.

zuzu knew’s drawings are surfaced creatures within creatures. the essence of her pastry frilled, theatrically stewed, prismatic vision. they are rarely seen in the light of real life.

re-appropriating crudely fetish sized objects , plumping their hidden recesses and excavating a bizarre bank of garbled and pure beings that demand nothing. a music that endeavors to widen the sphere of immediacy, an empty husk of intentions, some sounds jammed in the neck of time. fragmented convulsions of guilt, sputtering rhythms of failure and unnerving dissolute textures; reflections from damaged life.

analog synths and guitar effects pedals coupled with poetic arrangements with post-shoegaze experimental drifts & peaks meld different worlds of music into a definitive style,
distinguishing echo beach apart from other contemporary projects letting the collages of sound take the listener on a journey to their inner-most sanctuary.
