*** What is Sidetracks?***

……Sidetracks is a superstar silkscreening team of volunteers whose mandate is to make silkscreening accessible to projects and organizations working for social change, especially those that meet Ste. Emilie’s mandate around self-representation, self-expression, anti-racism and queer liberation.

***Some things to know about becoming a SIDETRACKS member***

♥ You will have the most fun of your life
♥ You must commit to 10 hours (or more!) per month
♥ You must attend the Orientation/Q&A AND the Training Day (see details below)
♥ You will emerge from training equipped to:
♥ Incite revolution through art (aka work with activist and community groups on their silkscreen needs)
♥ Lead silkscreen 101 workshops
♥ Make beautiful and rad personal projects
♥ Host community groups
♥ Repair broken screens!!
♥ Even more!


***Interested in getting involved?***
If you want to get involved in Sidetracks, you must attend BOTH of these sessions.

This is a chance to find out more about what Sidetracks does, what it means to get involved, and ask all your questions!

—>The **Training Day** on November 7th from 12-6
(you can confirm your spot for this at the Orientation/Q&A)

The Training Day will include such informative sessions as:
♥ Silkscreen 101 workshop
♥ Intro to the Ste. Emilie Silkscreen Studio Space
♥ Anti-Oppression Training + Intro to the Ste. Emilie Mandate
♥ How to work with community groups
