Open Studio Report – May 22nd, 2010
Hallo,
Open Studio was super busy today. D printed patches for an indigenous/mexican punk band, and burned screens for people’s potato bags.  Another D burned 6 screens for 3 shirts – it was a lot of work to say the least, but the t-shirts look good. Also, E did his first (?) print about the transgenerational violence inflicted during the Korean War – pretty f**kin powerful. B came by to say hi and work on the serger, which he managed to make work after many dedicated hours! Way to go!
I’m trying out this new system where I coat all the screens beforehand and they hang out at Ste. Emilie ready to be used so that everything goes faster. I think its working out so far…. slowly but surely the screen-lending system is being updated and maintained.
On Sunday, W and me worked on the zine distro setup, the art display setup and the display board setup for the bookfair on Saturday. Its sooooo busy! Everyone wants to print last minute for the bookfair. When will we ever learn?
CLOSED next Saturday – its just how it is.
<3,
